This summer, St. Çï¿ûÊÓƵ invites the Quad Cities community to participate in our summer camps and conferences.
Academic Camps and Programs
- Grades 9-12
June 11-12, 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
A two-day summer program for high school students (grades 9-12) focusing on how to present the various parts of a mock trial case utilizing actual case materials. Learn how to make your openings and closings better, how to use the rules of evidence, and how to be a better witness. The camp will conclude with competition, feedback, and awards. Lunch is provided.
- Grades 5-8
Session 1: June 17-18 and 20-21, 2024, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Session 2: July 8-12, 2024, 1:00-4:00 pm
Explore engineering and robotics through the use of LEGO Mindstorms robots. Students entering grades 5-8 will program autonomous robots using sensors to challenge each other in the sport of LEGO Sumo. Snacks are provided (our cafeteria is undergoing refurbishment).
*Registration opens February 20th
- Grades 8-12
July 8-12, 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Students entering grades 9-12 in the fall will attend daily activities at the Galvin Fine Arts Center and Davis Hall on the St. Çï¿ûÊÓƵ campus. Each day campers will receive daily lessons*, performance seminar, a specialty piano class, piano ensemble class where students can play duets with their fellow pianists, and have supervised practice. On the last day, campers will present a concert showcasing what they have learned throughout the week. Friends and family are invited to attend!
*All campers are asked to come prepared with a minimum of two pieces to work on during the camp.
- Grades 7-12
July 22-23, 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
St. Çï¿ûÊÓƵ Model United Nations summer camp (grades 7-12) is a two-day conference at which key activities of the United Nations Security Council are simulated. This conference is designed to enhance critical and analytical skills essential for preparation for college level coursework, and provide a unique academic experience to help craft that standout college admissions resume. - Grades 2-8
July 22-26, 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Designed for students at all levels of theatre experience, campers will audition, rehearse, and perform a musical alongside 3 professional teaching artists...in one week! Camp fees are $195 and include a camp t-shirt and 2 tickets to the final performance. Additional tickets will be available for purchase.
